Bonnie Carini: A few years ago I formed Mandorla Films, LLC with William Hazen of Malibu, California. Our current projects include two feature films; PILOT WHALE FOG and COLD STORM, and two documentaries; FARTHER DOWN THE RIVERS OF BABYLON and FOR- SKIN?.

PILOT WHALE FOG was born out of an ecological/cultural exchange endeavor I have been working on for the past 3 years with the Faroe Islands, which are located in the North Atlantic below Iceland. The movie is an adventure /drama/ coming of age story about a teenage Faroese boy, Brandur, who longs to be a musician, but is torn between his passion for music and his responsibility to his father to help manage the family fish farm, which is on the verge of collapse. Through his hauntingly beautiful music Brandur connects with the pilot whales, which puts him in conflict with the grindadrap, an old Faroese tradition of herding and slaughtering pilot whales for food. With the arrival of Moana, a teenage Hawaiian/Faroese girl from Hawaii, Brandur’s conflicts become paramount. Moana represents a whole new perspective to Brandur that in actuality only reaffirms his own feelings. Now casting for the lead role "Moana".
 

Na Nai'a:  The Dolphins (A feature film documentary)- Jonathon Kay Producer/Director.  "A mind-expanding feature film documentary that will convey the message of the dolphins to humanity.  This visionary film will help humanity make its next leap in consciousness by inspiring Earth dwellers worldwide to absorb the wisdom of the dolphins and the whales, the most intelligent creatures of the sea." Workshop Photo shoots:  Focus is offering (8 or more) workshop "photo shoots" per year @ Local Photographers. No cost to the models for the photographer-if your interested in purchasing images - cost per each photo is $20. These purchased images can go up on model websites at no charge- (Two website changes per year at no charge). Mahalo !

Portfolio:

DO's 
use images that you can be readily seen - in focus, light enough, etc.
use images that vary your expressions - smile, no smile, etc.

Don'ts
don't use images which have other people in the image (unless a
well-known tear-sheet or photo's being used in a "couple or family" category).
don't use images which are just repeats of another image (quality over
quantity)
don't use swimsuit shots in which your body is not being shown at it's
best
don't use images that you know are not showing you well, just to have
more images

marketing yourself is important to both yourself and Focus

Use "quality over quantity" as you guide to choosing only the "best"
images to market yourself
